They never expected their story to start with not liking each other.
From 2017 to 2020, Matthew and Azalia were college classmates who shared the same rooms, the same lectures, and the same deadlines—yet they didn’t get along and certainly didn’t see each other as “the one.” In their minds, they were far from each other’s type.
After graduation, Matthew started working first. Later, when an opportunity opened at his office, he thought of Azalia. He recommended her for the position—not out of romance, but because he respected her abilities. She joined the same company, and that was where everything quietly began to change.
Day by day, in the middle of shared projects, late-night discussions, and the pressure of deadlines, Matthew began to see a different side of Azalia: her dedication, her integrity, her quiet strength, and the way she believed in him. That respect slowly turned into admiration, and admiration into love.
For three years, they worked side by side. Then Azalia did something that transformed their future—she encouraged Matthew to step beyond his comfort zone. She believed he could build something greater. With her full support, they decided to start their own firm.
From once being just two distant classmates, they became partners in vision and courage. Together, they built their own company and opened an office in a business building they used to only admire from afar.
In 2025, Matthew and Azalia stand not only as entrepreneurs and partners, but as husband and wife.
From “not my type” to “my forever choice” — this is their love story.
