From 2017 to 2020, Matthew and Azalia were college classmates who shared the same rooms, the same lectures, and the same deadlines—yet they didn’t get along and certainly didn’t see each other as “the one.” In their minds, they were far from each other’s type.

After graduation, Matthew started working first. Later, when an opportunity opened at his office, he thought of Azalia.
