From Close Friends to Soulmates
Shella and Indra first met as fellow students at ITB, both actively involved in PMK and joining the PK division. At first, they were just acquaintances, not very close. But fate brought them closer when they became part of Servi Dei, the 2018 PMK Committee. From then on, their friendship grew deeper.
As time went by, toward the end of 2018, Indra realized how special Shella was to him. Around her, he felt a unique sense of comfort, and that fluttering feeling, part admiration, part affection, part something more, kept growing. Quietly, Indra began to cherish his feelings for Shella and lifted them in prayer… until finally.
The Beginning of Something Special
In July 2019, before leaving for his internship in Japan, Indra confessed his feelings to Shella. They nurtured their bond from afar for two months while he was away. Upon his return to Bandung, Shella happily accepted him as her boyfriend on September 22, 2019.
Six Years of Shared Memories
Over the next six years, their relationship faced highs and lows, yet remained steadfast. In Bandung, they loved riding motorcycles around the city square, exploring the beauty of Lembang, or simply catching a movie together. Bandung became their second home, filled with memories, from tackling their final thesis to supporting each other in job hunting.
Challenges came when they had to endure a long-distance relationship after starting their careers. It wasn’t easy, there were ups and downs, but their love persevered. Eventually, Indra moved to Jakarta for work, and it felt like they had finally found the city where they could build a life together.
A Sacred Promise
After years of growing together and overcoming life’s ups and downs, Indra knew it was time to make their love official in the most sacred way. On November 24, 2024, amidst the beauty of nature and the presence of loved ones, Indra proposed to Shella, marking the beginning of their lifelong journey together. With a heart full of love, Shella said yes
