We didn’t meet through an app or by accident.
Our parents introduced us—very calmly—while we both internally wondered,
“So… what are we supposed to feel?”
Because honestly, at that time, we felt nothing. Zero spark. Just polite conversations and a shared confusion.
Life gave us a break for a few months.
Then in August, Selma went for Umrah to clear her heart, and Hido quietly took that time to sort out his own feelings.
Somewhere in that space, things changed.
When Selma returned, everything felt different—in a good way.
The conversations felt warmer, the connection felt clearer, and the doubts slowly faded.
Hido decided to step forward with intention, asked for blessings, and chose the serious path with calm confidence.
Looking back, our story taught us something simple:
Not every love starts with fireworks.
Some grow quietly, patiently, and at the perfect time—
the way it was meant to.
