Eric and Joanne first met at the Culinary Institute of America during their Japanese Concentration semester. They were both quiet and shy but they started talking while cleaning the dishes. Day after day they became much closer until the day they travelled to Japan as a class. Eric made the first move to ask Joanne out on a date in Kyoto, however, she was hesitant at first as it was her first time being asked out. It wasn’t until they both returned to NY that they went on their first date. That’s when Eric asked Joanne if she was interested in being in a relationship with him. Joanne said yes and the rest is memories!
