We first met back in 2015, during our university years at Ubaya. I was studying Law, and he was in Marketing. We weren’t classmates—just familiar faces who knew each other’s names, occasionally exchanged small talk, and shared mutual friends. It was all very casual, with no hidden intentions, no drama—just two students crossing paths.

After graduation in 2018, we got a little closer, but the timing still wasn’t right. Life led us down separate paths, and we continued on our own journeys, not knowing what the future held.

Then, in September 2021, we reconnected—unexpectedly. It started with a simple chat and an invitation to play badminton. Nothing serious, just catching up and some light exercise. But something shifted. After that game, we kept talking… and kept meeting. And with every conversation, every moment together, it felt more natural. More right.

By December 2021, what began as a casual reunion turned into something real. We officially became a couple. No pressure, no grand gestures—just a quiet, steady realization that we had found comfort, support, and joy in each other.

Over the next few years, we grew—together. We celebrated little wins, weathered challenges, and built a deeper connection rooted in understanding and trust.

In November 2024, we began planning our wedding. And in May 2025, we got engaged in Makassar. Who would’ve thought that from a simple friendship in 2015, and a spontaneous game of badminton in 2021, we’d be standing here now—ready to walk hand in hand into a shared future.

Our story may not be filled with dramatic twists or fairy-tale moments, but perhaps that’s exactly why it feels so right. Because in the end, love found its way—in its own time, in its own way—and brought us here.
