Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
1 Corinthians 13 : 4-8
OUR JOURNEY
Our story didn’t start with something super special or dramatic like in movies or Korean dramas . But one thing we truly believe is that everything we've gone through—from the very first time we met up until now—has all happened in God’s perfect timing. Not too early, not too late—He’s always right on time. It’s all because of His grace! All the glory to Him!
It all started when we were introduced by Kania’s brother-in-law (just call him Mr. Y) on October 22, 2022 (our sincere thanks to him!). What’s funny is that Daniel had actually known Mr. Y for a long time, but he never introduced us back then. If only we’d met earlier, maybe we wouldn’t have had to wait this long to get married .
After that first meeting, we kept in touch by chatting and meeting regularly. Little by little, we got to know each other more deeply. Sure, neither of us is perfect, but we kept learning how to accept each other—flaws and all.
We made our relationship official on May 22, 2023. There were definitely ups and downs, but through it all, we stayed together.
Then came the big moment—Daniel proposed to Kania on December 25, 2024. He came with his parents to meet Kania’s mom and dad and ask for her hand in marriage. It was truly a beautiful Christmas gift for both of us!
We got engaged on June 27, 2025, and on September 20, 2025, we’ll begin a brand new journey together—taking a vow to walk hand in hand as husband and wife, and choosing to love each other for the rest of our lives.
