Matthew 21:22 reminds us: “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

This verse beautifully reflects our journey. Long before we met, we prayed not just for a companion for a moment, but for a soulmate—a partner for life. In God’s perfect timing, our prayers were answered, and our paths crossed on October 23rd, 2022.

After two months of knowing each other, we felt a strong connection and began a long-distance relationship on December 28th, 2022, between Kupang and Surabaya. The distance was not easy, filled with challenges and doubts, but we held on to God’s promises. We believed that “everything happens for a reason, and distance means nothing when someone means everything.”

By God’s grace, we overcame those 29 months of distance. Through trust, sacrifice, and faith in His timing, we discovered that our love is more than just a feeling—it is home. Our bond grew stronger with each passing day, and on May 21st, 2025, Robert proposed, and Gita joyfully said “Yes.”

We truly believe that every step of our journey has been guided by God’s grace and blessing. With grateful hearts, we give all glory to Him, for only with His hand have all our plans unfolded so beautifully.

Now, with joy and thanksgiving, we look forward to our wedding day on December 15th, 2025, when we will become one in love, faith, and devotion—forever.
