We first crossed paths during our junior high school years, though we didn’t really know each other back then. All we knew was that Rara was the younger sister of Daniel’s friend, and Rara only knew Daniel as her brother’s friend.

Then, in August 2022, we were unexpectedly reunited. At that time, Rara was going through a difficult season in life, and God through His perfect timing brought us together. It all began with simple conversations through Instagram, which eventually led to a decision to meet in person and truly get to know one another.

We began to share our stories, our hardships, our joys, and the journey of our lives with God. Daniel, who listened patiently and wisely, became not only a comforting presence but also a role model. Without even realizing it, Daniel helped Rara grow deeper in her relationship with Jesus Christ.

The signs from God became more evident, showing us that we were being prepared for one another, to complement and complete each other in ways only He could orchestrate.

Just one month later, on September 17, 2022, we officially began our relationship. From the start, we committed to building a relationship grounded in faith, one that honored God and nurtured strong connections with each other’s families.

Throughout our relationship, we’ve learned to understand one another, to sacrifice, to encourage each other, and to grow in Christlikeness. We’ve had our fair share of conflicts and joyful moments. We discovered how much we enjoy doing things together traveling, exploring new food, and simply sharing life. Through all the highs and lows, we can truly testify that Jesus Christ has never left our side. He is faithful and has been the One sustaining and guiding us.

And then came a beautiful milestone—April 10, 2024, Daniel’s birthday. It was on this special day that we took the next step in our relationship and got engaged, committing to a future together in marriage. Through this engagement season, we’ve grown even closer, not only to each other but also to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It was during this time that we discovered the vision for our marriage.

Our marriage vision is this:
"To be friends and influencers for those who are going through difficult times, so that they may come to know Christ and discover their life’s purpose—through us, through social media, discipleship, and the business environments we are in." (Matthew 5:14–16)

To this day, we strive to maintain harmony, holiness, and a life that honors God. We walk as a couple who fears the Lord and continually pursue the vision of our marriage.
